Biography

Dr. Simon Nadel is a Consultant in Paediatric Intensive Care at St Mary’s Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, London, and a Professor in Paediatric Intensive Care at Imperial College London. His clinical and academic expertise encompasses paediatric sepsis, infectious diseases, septic shock, critical illness, mechanical ventilation, and long-term outcomes following critical illness. He has extensive experience in paediatric intensive care research and has authored and co-authored numerous scientific publications addressing severe infections, paediatric sepsis, critical illness, respiratory support, and outcomes following intensive care admission. Through his clinical practice, research, education, and academic contributions, Dr. Nadel has made significant contributions to the fields of paediatric intensive care and infectious diseases.
