Biography

Dr.Khola Noreen is an Associate Professor of Community Medicine at Rawalpindi Medical University, Pakistan. He holds an MBBS, MPhil in Public Health, and a Master's in Health Professions Education (MHPE), and is currently pursuing a PhD in Public Health. His doctoral research focuses on the cultural adaptation and psychometric validation of the WHO Behavioural and Social Drivers (BeSD) framework to support HPV vaccine implementation in Pakistan. Dr.Noreen has authored more than 90 peer-reviewed scientific publications in national and international journals. His research spans HPV vaccination, cervical cancer prevention, implementation research, behavioural and social determinants of vaccination, psychometric instrument development and validation, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, public health, epidemiology, and medical education. His notable publications include a systematic review and meta-analysis on HPV vaccination uptake in South Asia published in Frontiers in Public Health, an HPV vaccination study protocol published in PLOS ONE, and several studies on cultural adaptation, validation, and implementation of the WHO BeSD framework for HPV vaccination. He actively collaborates with national and international researchers and is committed to generating evidence that informs vaccination policy and strengthens cervical cancer prevention programmes in low- and middle-income countries.
