Biography

Dr. Waode Fifin Ervina, S.Gz., M.Imun, is an Indonesian researcher whose work spans immunology, nutrition, molecular biology, and the relationship between the gut microbiome and the immune system. She obtained a bachelor's degree in Nutrition from Universitas Hasanuddin, a master's degree in Immunology and a Ph.D. in Medical Science from Universitas Airlangga. Her research experience includes intestinaltight-junction damage, microbiome homeostasis in patients with burns, inflammation, and the immunological effects of Lactobacillus. She is a member of the Society for Mucosal Immunology and the Indonesian Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
